This week, Learning at Work Week provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration amongst talented individuals from across the Lift Schools network.

In support of the national initiative, which aims to inspire learning in the workplace, Lift's professional development team organised a rich programme of virtual and in-person events designed to bring together people from across our network to share their knowledge and expertise.

Held at the Innovation Lab in the trust's new office at EdCity, sessions covering topics from SEND education to AI and photography were led by Lift Schools employees representing various teams, including digital and network advancement.

Talent Development Lead Monika Kruk said: "We have a vast array of talent and expertise across our network and it’s so important that we leverage these opportunities to come together to grow and learn from each other to achieve our goals and missions."
Lift CEO Becks Boomer-Clark said: "Attracting and developing great people is central to our mission. It has been energising to see people come together and generously share their expertise and knowledge."

Learning at Work Week is an annual campaign, typically held in May, that is aimed at promoting and celebrating learning and development in the workplace.

Organised by Campaign for Learning, the event encourages employers across all sectors to engage staff in learning activities to boost professional development, improve team collaboration and foster a culture of continuous learning.
