Nigel Whittle, Regional Education Director for the North, said: “The North Regional Education Conference was a hugely important day in all of our calendars. It was an opportunity for nearly 800 colleagues from across the region to gather together for the first time in person, but also to receive expert input from educators up and down the country as well as from within our own trust.”

Lift Schools CEO Becks Boomer-Clark added: “Lift Schools is a national network, but we definitely exist to have a local impact. Our regional model is a really important part of ensuring that every teacher, every leader, and every person who works at Lift Schools feels connected face-to-face with other people doing similar work and facing similar challenges. Days like today energise you through the times when people can’t be together in person. It’s been brilliant to see so many terrific sessions and so much energy; it feels like a new era for the North.”
